   Hello Ron,
I have not completed editing this file its around 50 K if you
like you may have it un edited as it has all the text I am just trying to
make it look a bit better. I havent changed any of the text so everything
is as I got it I got it from the Journal of Med and was Hardcopy for some
time,I decided to check the Mag area on CompuServe and there is was ready
for capturing.Anyway this will definatly give you another outlook on this
topic of Narcotics especially Morphine. Morphine is the safest and most
efficient medication there is its strong but thats good after you read it
you will understand why, REMEMBER that you can only get addicted to any
narcotic if you use it for pleasure, recreational means getting high, you
know what I mean if its medicine and your taking it for PAIN yes you just
might get a little buzz at first adjusting to the medication, as morphine
MS -Contin long lasting morphine in my case.Any ways you may dload it from
my BBS I am usually here unless you call after 8pm 514-640-3057 if ya want
to call me voice its 514-640-8580 OK we can set a time so you dont have to
call twice OK!!!
                                                           Peter Baker

I would like any information I can get on morphine use. As i
mentioned before I am on a PCA machine which gives me a constant IV
drip of morphine. It is about the size of a walkman. Is this only
in the San Francisco area? I also have Contin MS but the docs would
rather adjust me to the PCA, which IS working.
How about a book or some other basic literature I can get a hold
of that will give me the ABC's of morphine use. How about
suggestions for the dry mouth, lessened appetite, etc. BTW both my
oncologist and my regular doctor recommend pot for the waves of
nausea. Thanks.
