I am currently marketing two software packages for
VersaBraille II and VersaBraille II+ systems.
Communications Package. At the heart of this
package is a powerful program which can emulate a VT100
terminal. Systems where this terminal has been used to
run screen-oriented software include: IBM mainframes,
VAX/VMS, Unix, CP/M, bulletin boards. You can also use
this program to save a transcript of a terminal session
and upload files to another computer. In addition, the
program contains a "2D reader". You can read files
stored on VersaBraille disks while interacting with
another computer. This package also includes three small
programs that are helpful for working with VersaBraille
files. Also included is a "stand-alone" version of the
2D reader. Price of this package is $75.
File Management and Merge Programs. This package
includes a file merge program together with a file
management program. In comparison with the merge command
that's built into new VersaBrailles, my merge program
allows the merging of more than two files in a single
step. As one example of the many features provided by
the file management program, you can quickly delete files
from a VersaBraille disk. Price of this package is $25.
