Hiya!
I'm going to be spending the summer in the Dallas/Fort Worth area (Tarrant
county) and would like to meet some other deaf folks when I get there...
which will be in early June...
I'm a student at Gallaudet U (majoring in elementary ed of the hearing
impaired (i don't really like that term, but that's the name of the
program, sigh))...
Any of you from the DFW area, leave me a message either on this BBS
or on this echo, I check mail pretty frequently...
A little background: I'm deaf, grew up oral, and have been learning
sign the last few years...originally from NYC. I've been reading the
messages on this echo for a couple of weeks, and eventually will try
to get into some of the discussions...
