Hi! I'm curious as to the cause and effects of carpal tunnel syndrome.
More specific, I'm interested in knowing if their are other individuals out
their who are experiencing or have experienced this problem from the use of
manual wheelchairs and how they resolved the problem(s) associated with
having carpal tunnel syndrome. I believe I have a real brain dead surgeon
who says he doesn't believe that continual pounding on the wheels of a
wheelchair would cause this problem. If not, it must certainly aggravate it.
I am already aware of studies indicating that this syndrome is also
associated with computers, but I have also found information stating that it
affects others, such as knitters and is more commonly found in women. I am
just interested in cause and effect in use of wheelchairs. Thanx.
