I believe this has been posted before, but didn't get it at the time.
I am interested in obtaining a guide dog, but for many reasons I need
home training rather than going to a school. I've never had a guide
dog, so some schools might not allow this at all and especially for
first time users. However, I figure I'll never know until I write
them. Could someone please sned me the names and addresses and names
of appropriate contact people for each school? Also, does anyone know
of any private trainers and sources for funding such training? I know
about Frank Perino, the blind guy in New York who has started IInnersight
For the Blind. I've spoken with him more than once, but don't have
the money now for private training.
Anyway, I'd like to write to all the schools and just see what they
would have to say when I explain my special request and why. Thanks
