[This is from the Chronic Pain Conference]
Clint, Sometimes (on one of my better days) I wonder if my pains
are real or just in my mind. I do know that certain things seem to
trigger negative reactions such as thinking about going outside, my
stomache normally gets torn up. I know that the brain and pain work
hand in hand and would like to know if pain is real or only an
impression given off by the brain. The longer I'm in pain, the more
irrational I get.
