Index Number: 15773 [This is from the Silent Talk Conference] Barbara, may I suggest that if you have sufficient residual hearing that could make life easier for you, to get the hearing aid. If a true benefit can be obtained fromthe use of an aid for you, you owe it to yourself to use one. I kind of believe in a use it before you lose it philosophy. For me a hearing does less than nothing, but I think those who could benefit from one should use an aid. Eventually, your hearing will degenerate. The idea I am advocating is for you to get everything you can out of what you have now while you can. -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!300!14!James.Womack Internet: James.Womack@f14.n300.z1.fidonet.org
