Index Number: 15868 [This is from the Spinal Injury Conference] I have tried smoking grass in the past (illegally) and did not find it very beneficial. I have aN incomplete injury and lots of sensation. Pot seemed to magnify the problems I was having. That is, it made me keenly aware of my spasticity. I found that drinking large quantities of alcohol worked great for spasticity and many times used the two together. Needless to say I developed more complicated problems than spasticity. I have not drank or smoked in almost two years now. I am a little reluctant to try yhe marijuana unless I am sure it will work. I have heard and read of the positive effects of pot on spasticity ( about a year ago in the Spinal Network). I am interested in any information you may have as to its actual clinical use now by doctors. That I am an incomplete also, and it does magnify other stuff, but it also reduces spams...just tune the problems out.. >drinking large quantities of alcohol worked great for spasticity but you have to deal with hangovers -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!130!26!Howard.Dearman Internet: Howard.Dearman@f26.n130.z1.fidonet.org
