HI! Zippy, yes I am going camping, but with a travel trailer that is
self-contained. I will have electricity, regular or 12 volts. My cpap can
run on 12 volts electricity. I also have a very nice case to carry my cpap
and take it along with me. I am going to buy another trailer and I was
looking at one tonight which suits us. I will make an offer on it to-morrow
as the owner was not home when I called. The trailer is not new but it is
in good shape and clean. It has a shower and toilet in it. It is not too
big so that I can travel with it. We are planning to visit the maritime
provinces in August this year.
I will also need to buy a vehicle to tow the trailer, but I am not in a
rush, so I have some time to decide on the type of vehicle. When my
disability started, I never thought that I would be trying such a feat again
of travelling with a trailer, but we will try it, and make the most of it.
My wife and I, just love to travel, and using a trailer is more economical.
Also it is more fun as you are in outdoors all the time and meet some lovely
people. The people are usually very friendly in the camp grounds. If we
manage well, then we will probably go to Florida with the trailer next
winter. My wife has lots of holiday accumulated so it will not be a problem
for her to get holidays in the winter.
cheers, J.P.
