Hello Ray,
   Please forgive me for jumping in on one of your messages. You

mentioned you were looking for some support and possibly legal advice.
I don't know where you're from, but there are agencies nation-wide
called the Association for Retarded Citizens. Normally they are a
vocational rehabilitation program, but most agencies have advocacy
programs as well as extensive legal info. If they can't help you,
they will certainly point you in the right direction. I ought to know,
I worked at an ARC in Philadelphia. Let me know if this helps......Sue

Another advocacy service for the Developmentally Disabled is the
Protection and Advocacy Services.  Each state has an office that staffs
legal and or social work staff who's full time job it is to protect the
rights of the developmentally disabled.  You will usually find them in
your state capitols as (State) P&A for Protection and Advocacy
