Its obvious from the head that I am talking about another couple of
wonderful days at the VA.
The left wrist was scrmbled by a shotgun in 71. Developed
Osteomyalitis, and have periodic bouts with that bug.
The wrist is malfunctioning a bunch. Some swelling, but lots of pain
and stiffness. Same old s***. Went to the VA. thuresday: you have to be
seen in the Emergency room first before we ccan set you up with an orthopod.
4 hours later they send me to the clinics for an apointment. The clinics tell
me its closing time and I should come back tomarrow. No xrays, no nothing!
Friday: Sorry we can not order a culture of the wrist area to
determine if the osteo is acting up until you see an orthopod. We will order
x-rays to be taken that day. This just might be your arthritis acting up. Oh
we can get you an emergency appointment in early September.
Well, if its arthritis september is ok. It its osteo I could very
well be dead long before that date. The doc I did see said "You have had so
much trouble with this wrist and hand, why don't we amputate and let pathology
figure it out".
I think my old rep as "trouble" is being reserected.
AAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
Any body know where I can get a small thermo-nuclear device to shove up a
doctors rump past his prostrate?
