I have worked with a speech output with the DragonDictate before and
someone who is blind is using the system although I'm not sure who it
is. He lost both of is eyes and hands in an explosion. From what I
hear he is producing about 50 words of text a minute. I believe that
he is a writer so it has really helped him in his profession. I guess
that when I go to these trade shows I will have to become more aware
of other products for different disabilities so that I can be of more
help to others on the conference. I do know that it really helps to
read something aloud when proof reading. It's really amazing how
errors show up when you hear what you wrote. Right now I'm in the
middle of writing a large proposal and when I read it to my deputy
office chief who is blind I catch a lot of the errors myself.
Frank.
