We are using NCR StarLAN to connet NCR 7052 cash registers to a Tower
600 or 650. With this Tower we would like to make an Ethernet connection
to another Tower 600 or 650.
I have installed an EXELAN Ethernet Board and the TCP/IP Software on the
Tower, which already has the StarLAN Software installed. During the make
of the new kernel I got an error message:
ex 4 0 7
Nexus allocated
Configuration aborted
As far as I know this means that two drivers are using the same
interrupt vector. So I had a look at the configuration file an I found
the following two entries:
cpc 4 7000 7 1
ex 4 0 7
Now, is it posible to change this interrupt vector of the Ethernet Board
to get the two LANs run on the same Tower or is it basically impossible
to run two LANs on the same Tower?
Hardware and Software: 2 Tower 600 or 650
EXELAN Ethernet Board
NCR StarLAN Board
Unix Release 02.01.01
StarLAN Software 01.01.09
TCP/IP Software 01.00.00
Danks for any help
