[comp.sys.ncr] Development System for NCR Tower 1632

silvan@impch.imp.com (Silvan Mueller) (06/09/90)

Hi civilized World ,

a friend of mine gave me an NCR Tower 1632 from his company.
This machine is no longer supported by NCR. The problem is that
I have no devlopment system for this biest. There is only the
c-compiler for compiling new kernels but no c-libraries. I tried
to get a development systen from NCR, but they don't sell it anymore.

Since it is an m68k machine with SysVR2 it should be no problem to
run most of the public domain software available for unix, but without
libraries.......

Is there any good soul around still using this machine or having a tape
around with a development system which he could send me. I'll use this
machine as my 'homecomputer', not for any commercial use.

Please mail me if you can help me, we may then discuss eventual 'conditions'.

Thanks in advance

You may order NCR TOWER XP Operating System 3.02.02 (LPID D509-2244-0000)
from your salesman; if you do not have a tape drive, this product is avail-
able in flex form, too. If you have concerns, please contact your local
NCR sales office.
