We have spent the better part of a day trying to connect
to towers via uucp using the instructions detailed in
the network guide. Both towers are 600 running 3.00.01
release of the OS and 2.00 WIN/TCP. It seems that
we are able to get the following:
...
Device Type TCP wanted
ProtoStr = eg
Internal caller type TLI
filelock: ok
tlicall: bound to
t_connect to addr "\x00020401806d9455"
set interface TLI
processdev: calling setdevcfg(uucico, TCP)
gdial(tcp) called
chat: TCGETA failed, errno 22
expect: ("")
got it
sendthem (<NO CR>NLPS:000:001:101^@)
getto ret 6
>imsg >imsg >imsg .........
This is far as it will go. Any ideas on a solution would be greatly
appreciated. Thankyou.

Ray, On the remote end, does your file /usr/net/nls/tcp/dbf have this in it? 101:n:listen:reserved:NULL,:/usr/lib/uucp/uucico -r 0 -i TLI -u uucp -- Greg
