The launch of STS-6 will take place ''no earlier than 1 February,'' NASA said today, as engineers still look for the hydrogen leak. They will decide by Friday whether or not to conduct a second test firing of the main engines. On Monday, a simulated computerized countdown, with all four astronauts and mission specialists participating, will be held as scheduled.
