Just a curiosity here. About 6:01 am this morning I found an error message in my errfile that at first glance seems alarming, but is probably not. In any case, it is not the kind of thing you can find in the manual, and not really (I hope) the kind of thing to trouble CODAR about, so here is the basic description. (Forgot to copy it to this machine, so this is a rough translation) Software incident at 6:01am Log time, not available (huh? - it knew above..) Error code 1, single bit error, Error code 2, 0000 Address 1, fxxxxxxx (don't remember) Address 2, 00000022 (or so) Process Name, KERN Process ID, ffff (seems unlikely) Anyone got any idea what that means in simple terms as far as the health of my Kernel goes? Doggone, I appreciate superb diagnostics, but sometimes they are so good I can't read 'em :-) :-) :-) As always, thanks in advance to all who answer my DUMB questions about this new tower (and thanks to the guys at NCR who have really helped get this thing to be generally supremely reliable - I don't think I thank them enough here.)
