We have several 500's here running win/tcp etc which allow SLIP connections
NCR seem unable to provide us with manuals , does anyone have any knowledge
of this ??? I would particularly like to know what the cable spec is for the
connection.

Right , there's an important point to made here .... I am NOT ( REPEAT NOT getting at Sam ) but these answers appear too often in this group , it may appear to others that was a good answer . It would be if NCR UK could actually get them , despite my repeated requests to NCR UK we have not received any updates for TCP. They seem unaware that the version of s/w they provide is totally different from the documented version.
