I'm asking for advice. I'm a graduate student just taking possesion of an NCR Mini-Tower on which I plan to write my dissertation. Its got 1 Meg memory, 85 Meg hard-disk, 45 meg tape. I'm looking for advice on how to bring up Un*x with gnu emacs, gcc, TeX, and c-scheme. I also need pointers to a place to buy expansion memory, cheaply. Thanks! Peter Olsen pcolsen@super.org
