[net.columbia] Quilt Instead of Tiles

Questions about the new quilts:  Will they be more reliable than the existing
tiles?  Will they require as much maintenance between flights?  Are they as
subject to replacement if splashed with fuel?  Will they last as many flights
as the tiles are supposed to?
