I just saw a TV news item about artists who paint pictures of Shuttle for NASA. One man said he was looking for a "new perspective" that no-one had done before. I thought of a perspective so strange, it might be impossible to capture in a photograph: How about a painting of a Shuttle lift-off from a point directly above the nose, looking down at the pilots, Shuttle, external tank, boosters, flames, and so on? Anyone out there paint well enough to do it justice? Alan Silverstein
