I recall seeing a CFP for a special issue of IJMMS on groupware. Does anyone have the CFP? Larry

----- Call For Papers -----
The International Journal of Man Machine Studies
Special Issue on
Computer Supported Cooperative Work
and
Groupware
Guest Editor: Saul Greenberg
Alberta Research Council
Papers on the subject of Computer-Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW)
and Groupware are invited for a special issue of the International
Journal of Man Machine Studies (IJMMS) to be published end of
1990/beginning of 1991. All papers should address pertinent aspects of
CSCW. "Holistic" papers that provide breadth as well as depth are
encouraged as well, especially if they would be valuable to the
general IJMMS reader. We encourage a multi-disciplinary approach
ranging from computer to human sciences, and expect to publish papers
with quite different perspectives including (but not limited to)
o human, social and organizational factors of CSCW;
o surveys;
o software systems and prototype descriptions of groupware;
o issues and experiences in the design of groupware;
o case studies of groupware use.
Topics include but are not limited to:
o computer support for face to face meetings
o remote real time conferencing
o electronic mail
o bulletin boards and asynchronous conferencing
o application-specific multi-user system
o group knowledge acquisition
o computer support for casual interaction
Authors wishing to submit a paper to the Special Edition should submit
a full paper by March 31, 1990. A letter of intent and an abstract,
although not strictly required, would be appreciated by January 30,
1990. Papers will undergo the normal refereeing arrangements organized
by the Guest Editor.
Abstracts and papers should be sent to:
