Some days ago I posted the following message. Some people asked me about the price list, which was unclear. I have modified the text and repost it. Sjaak Brinkkemper -----------Improved text-------------------------- Last week the 2nd Workshop on the Next Generation of CASE tools took place in Trondheim, Norway, organized by the Norwegian Institute of Technology in Trondheim and the University of Jyvaskyla in Finland. Eleven research groups focussing on CASE tools and the like were present to present their works and discuss research issues on CASE: - Syti; Univ. Jyvaskyla, Finland - SOCRATES; SERC, Netherlands - Observ; Tel Aviv Univ., Israel - Rhapsody; Norwegian Inst. Technology, Norway - Risc; City University, United Kingdom - Triad, SISU, Sweden - Teq; Aalborg Univ., Danmark - Wise; Univ. Queensland, Australia - Expect, Eindhoven Univ. Technology, Netherlands - Univ. Paris, France - Umist, United Kingdom Some copies of the proceedings are available to the general public for a moderate price. Mail your orders to: Veli-Pekka Tahvanainen Dept. of Computer Science and Information Systems P.O. Box 35 SF-40351 Jyvaskyla Finland E-mail: vpt@jytko.jyu.fi Price information: Payments must be made in the Finnish currency, where one FIM is at the moment roughly 0.25 US Dollar. An invoice will be sent along with the shipment. Credit cards cannot be accepted . Price listing for proceedings and shipping (1st class/air mail): copies | Europe | North America | Australia | ------------------------------------------------- 1 | FIM 61 | FIM 89 | FIM 123 | 2 | FIM 76 | FIM 113 | FIM 193 | Surface mail is considerably cheaper, but takes 1-2 months to North America and 2-3 months to Australia. I don't have the exact figures. In case you prefer surface mail, specify this explicitly. The proceedings contain 24 papers and is approximately 500 pages (= 1 inch) thick. The papers are very interesting and of high quality. Special focus of the workshop was on: - new innovations of tools - integration of tools and methods in CASE environments - CASE Shells - CASE and CSCW - meta-modelling Underneath I give the table of contents. Next year the workshop will be in Manchester, United Kingdom. Those interested in participation should mail me some info on the topic of their research and some references to public domain papers. A call for papers will be on the net shortly after the summer.
