in misc.jobs.offered, one of the asked for skills is

Prerequisites:
- C, sh, csh, awk, sed, perl, etc.
                        ^^^^
First I've seen this, hope it's a trend.

Well, I've had Perl on my resume since September. It was hastily
added moments before my first face-to-face meeting with Larry (to
begin strategizing about "The Wisdoms of Perl" :-). He noted it with
a smile. I'm not sure whether Larry has it on *his* resume.

Does that mean there's finally a *job* that I can apply for? Wow.

Just another person who will never see a W-2 again,
