I encountered two configure problems after upgrading to pl12. 1. The check for 'volatile' does not take the compiler flags into account. Most notably, "gcc" supports volatile, "gcc -traditional" does not. This may also apply to other test-programs. 2. Configure determines a list of libraries to include. This list is offered as default answer to the question. This will be the definite answer if Configure is run with '-d' option. The value read in from config.sh should be used instead. This problem probably existed before this patch, but nevertheless.
