When I do I restart a dump created using the dump error without a label, I get a Bus Error, although when using 'perl -u' or supplying an arg, like 'dump RESTART;', it's fine. Does this happen on any other systems? I happen to have used the already-ported GNU unexec() routine for my dump operator rather than porting undump.c, so this may be the difference, but I'd like to check other people's behaviors before a final diagnosis. If no one else has the problem, I may just have to devote a weekend to porting undump to our bizarre a.out format. --tom -- Tom Christiansen {uunet, uiucdcs, sun}!convex!tchrist Convex Computer Corporation tchrist@convex.COM "EMACS belongs in <sys/errno.h>: Editor too big!"
