NASA decided yesterday to roll Columbia back to the VAB and switch the one SRB nozzle made with protective lining from batch 1042, the same batch that the faulty STS-8 SRB nozzle came from. The ''earliest possible launch date'' is now 28 November, though that would mean loss of scientific data from Spacelab, due to sun angle changes. If ESA does not find that acceptable, the next launch period begins in February.
