[comp.lang.perl] how do i get perl, please?

dob@inel.gov (David L. Brooks) (08/14/90)

this is probably one of the more frequently asked questions, but i *just*
now found out this conference existed (i usually follow groups a screen or
two down):

what is perl (a language, ok i guessed that part!)
how does one get it? it does not seem to come stock on this DECStation
3100.

thanks in advance.

btw, i know there is an incredibly long signature, but the part after my
address was added by lawyers (perhaps interactively, i can't say for
sure...) so flame the corporate suits, not me! there's *nothing* i can do
about it, at least they now let us post...

regards to all you language junkies,
dlb
