I have perl 3.0 pl18 on an SGI box: The documentation uses @_ in several examples but never talks about it specifically. While I have been able to infer its use I would appreciate it if someone gave me the full story. I am just a beginner here. I am planning to upgrade to pl28 - any watchpoints? I also have a wounded MS-DOS version on an XT compatable. It doesn't behave very well with MKS Toolkit (which is a shame). It kicks me out to MS-DOS and freezes up. This seems to be due to the fact that the Toolkit sort of takes over COMMAND.COM and perl bypasses this. I am a mainframe type so I'm not into the intricacies of micros.
