Although weather threatens the launch of the shuttle tomorrow morning, NASA has decided to go ahead with the external tank fueling, set to begin after midnight tonight. Weather at the emergency langing sites, in Spain and West Germany, is also predicted to be bad, with clearing expected by Wednesday. The current launch window expires after 5 December, when lunar reflection becomes too bright for Spacelab experiments. The next window is in February.
