So you're all bored with me by now? Me too! :^>~ I've got PERL 3.0 PL36 all built and loaded with only the acceptable warnings from GCC. It's on SCO XENIX V/386 2.3.3. And when I try to "make test" I get: chmod +x t/TEST t/base.* t/comp.* t/cmd.* t/io.* t/op.*; \ cd t && (rm -f perl; ln ../perl .) && ./perl TEST sh: 7924 Memory fault - core dumped *** Error code 139 (ignored) and the stack trace from adb looks like this... * _strlen(0x1ef6) from _wait4pid+0x38 _wait4pid() from _mypclose+0x70 _mypclose() from _eval+0x83d _eval() from _eval+0x46b _eval() from _cmd_exec+0x1281 _cmd_exec() from _cmd_exec+0x1690 _cmd_exec(0x1894054, 0x0, 0xffffffff) from _main+0x1490 _main(0x2, 0x187eb94, 0x187eba0) from __start+0x39 __start() from start0+0xc * HELP! Please! I love PERL, and am distraught by these problems after installing the Patch 29-36 (sort of 4.0) stuff. Sigh. -- +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ : Steven List @ Transact Software, Inc. :^>~ : : Chairman, Unify User Group of Northern California : : {apple,coherent,limbo,mips,pyramid,ubvax}!itkin@guinan.Transact.COM :
