[comp.lang.perl] Perl pl37 fails op.exec on Pyramid

chris@utgard.uucp (Chris Anderson) (10/25/90)

Pyramid 9825, OSx 5.0d
Compiled in the ucb universe, using Pyramid cc
Compiler switches DDEBUGGING, using perl malloc.

make test fails op.exec, test 5. Previously (pl36), it had
passed this.

Larry, I've been using Perl since 3.0 came out. As a tool, it's
outstanding. And I have *never* seen better support for a product.
Your willingness to make Perl do what your user's want, to help,
and to fix bugs in a timely fashion make it one of the absolute
best software packages I've ever used. Perl is a tour de force,
and you have given a shining example of what supporting a product
means to a lot of people. Bravo!

Chris
