Patchlevel 41 also fails the test of lib.big on an Altos 486/1000 running
Altos System V 5.3.1eT0 (roughly, System V R3.1 with many 3.2 enhancements;
stable).
The closest I've yet gotten to a symptom is that Perl dies with a memory fault
on test 37....
