[comp.lang.perl] h2ph at patchlevel 41 creates unusable .ph file

okamoto@hpcc01.HP.COM (Jeff Okamoto) (12/04/90)

As the h2ph manual page says, "You may need to dicker with the files."
I just got bit by this, so I figured I'd pass it on. If you're running
HP-UX 7.0 and use patchlevel 41's h2ph to create sys/stdsyms.h, you
will need to modify it. Not only does h2ph create an unusable .ph file,
but it also seems to not convert some of the #defines. I'm working
on making a correct copy which I'll post when I get it working.
