My perl (3.44 SunOS 4.1) core dumps if it does not have at least one executable statement. In other words if I just type "perl" to the shell, then hit ^D I get a core dump. Is this normal? -- _______________________________________________ /-\ |_ /-\ |\| Alan Light uunet!tkna!alan Telekurs (North America), Inc. New York, NY.

No. It doesn't do it on any of my Suns. Funny compiler? Corrupted kits?
