[comp.lang.perl] perl 4.000 is available for ftp

lwall@jato.jpl.nasa.gov (Larry Wall) (03/20/91)

Perl 4.000 is available now from jpl-devvax.jpl.nasa.gov (128.149.1.143).
In a week or so I'll send it off to comp.sources.whatever. Meanwhile,
if some of you could snarf a copy and make it available elsewhere, the
folks on this computer will be grateful, I'm sure.

Now for some sleep...

Larry

It is now available in perl/perl.4.0 on ftp.eecs.umich.edu
(141.212.99.6 at the moment, but subject to change).
I will leave this up for at least the next couple of months to
try to ease some of the load on jpl-devvax. Please report any
problems (with the FTP site, not with perl!) directly to me.

Also on tut.cis.ohio-state.edu (128.146.8.60) and osu-cis. Files are:

Accessing osu-cis ("the short form")

For complete, up-to-date instructions, retrieve the file:
	~/GNU.how-to-get
In case the paths or filenames are wrong, get:
	~/ls-lR.Z
Here is a set of L.sys or Systems file lines suitable for osu-cis:

And as always, everything published in prep.ai.mit.edu is also
available from nic.funet.fi, directory pub/gnu. Nic.funet.fi is
Finnish University Network project's anonymous ftp server, has a few
gigabytes of disk for the ftp service.
