Solar Max has checked out, and the crew of the shuttle will release it shortly after 0400 EST Thursday morning. After it is redeployed facing the sun, the shuttle will tail it for one orbit. Meanwhile, on the ground, the situation for landing did not look good weatherwise, and NASA is considering extending the flight a day or two. Another alternative would be to land at EAFB.
