A couple of days ago, I pulled a copy of shellform (form editor to be used in shell scripts by Paul Lew) off a comp.sources.unix archive. There didn't seem to be any patches. The package compiled without incident and works great with sh, csh and ksh. There weren't any examples of perl scripts included, but the manual page said it also worked with perl. Apparently, the "sf" program is started up by the perlscript, but I don't get a screen. The window (OpenWindows on Sun3) locks up. The only thing that will get its attention is a <ctl> C. I get the "aborted by user" highlighted message, but the window still will not respond. This package was mentioned in a posting in this news group last month. Has anybody out there actually used it? I would appreciate it if someone would e-mail me a short example that works at his/her location.
