	CHAPTER 17, BANI ISRAIL (The Children of Israel);

Verse 106:	(It is) a Quran which We have divided
(into parts from time to time),
In order that you may recite it to men at intervals:
We have revealed it by stages.

Verse 107:	Say: "Whether you believe in it or not,
It is true that those who were given
knowledge beforehand, when it is recited to them,
FALL DOWN ON THEIR FACES IN HUMBLE PROSTRATION,

Verse 108:	"And they say: `Glory to our LORD!
Truly has the promise of our LORD been fulfilled !' "

Verse 109:	THEY FALL DOWN ON THEIR FACES IN TEARS,
And it increases their (earnest) humility.

Verse 110:	Say: "Call upon ALLAH, or call upon The Most Gracious:
By whatever name you call upon Him, (it is well):
For to Him belong THE MOST BEAUTIFUL NAMES. ...

Verse 111:	... Yea, magnify Him for His Greatness and Glory !"

	CHAPTER 59, HASHR (The Gathering):

Verse 22:	God is He, than Whom there is no other god;-

			He, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

Verse 23:	God is He, than Whom there is no other god;-
			The Soverign, The Holy One,
The Source of Peace (and Perfection),

Dr. Durrani posted the 99 names of Allah. I had heard of these before. I would
like to ask the origin of these names. Are *each and every one* of these names
mentioned in the Quran as a name for Allah ?

Thanks.
