TO ALL NETTERS,

I would like to find the address of the AL-AAZHAR university . I am getting
more involved with this great religion ( ISLAM ) and there are certain
questions to which I find different and conflicting answers and one of my
muslim friends told me to write to the AL-AZHAR university, I would appreciate
if somebody will please e-mail me the address and also if possible the name of
the person I should write to. Thank you very much.

This is what I call the serious and scientific approach to
inquire about an issue; learning about it from a reputable
source. I hope your questions will be answered.

To Inquire about the Grand Sheik of Al-Azhar: write to
     Al-Azhar Adminstration
     Cairo, Egypt
Phone(s) 011-202-905-473 (full number including all codes)
     		011-202-905-506

To Inquire about Al-Azhar University: write to
     Al-Azhar University
     Cairo, Egypt

Note: These addreses are very well known! You need to be pa-
     tient, however.

Just a suggestion: If you are considering a visit to Egypt
for study, I would write first to the Egyptian Cultural and
Educational Bureau in Washington, D.C. and ask for exact re-
     gulations. The address is:

     Professor Abdelaziz Hamodah, Director
     Cultural and Educational Bureau
     2200 Kalorama Road N. W.
     Washington, D.C., 20008
     Phone: (202) 265-6400

P.S. If you decided to call the D.C. office, you may ask to
talk to either Prof. Hamodah or Prof. Hassan Soliman. If
for any reason you needed help just e-mail me or post.

     Good Luck.
