The followers of the past prophets practised Islam and therefore did 
practice the way they were supposed to. They never practised Christianity
or Judaism as is misunderstood by many. Christianity and Judaism were 
invented long after those prophets had passed away and had/have nothing
to do with what the prophets preached. A muslim therefore can never be
a Christian at the same time, especially when a Christian is understood 
to be a worshipper of Jesus Christ rather than the true One God.
