In response to Fazal's question about prostration in Judaism: Jews do prostrate themselves in prayer during the Rosh Hashanna and Yom Kippur prayers. When the temple still stood in Jerusalem, Jews also would prostrate themselves during the Temple service. Since the temple has been destroyed, this practice has been discontinued and will be put back into effect when the Temple is rebuilt following the appearance of the Messiah. --Andy Goldfinger
