Assalaamou Alaikoum

There has been quite a lot of discussion about hadith methodology and
interpretation recently.

Here are my two favorite books on the subject:

1. Studies in Early Hadith Literature by M. M. Azmi.

2. Studies in Hadith Methodology and Literature by M. M. Azmi

A more recent publication that I have not read is:

Criticism of Hadith among Muslims with Reference to Sunan Ibn Maja
 by Suhaib Hasan Abdul Ghaffar.

If you want to know where to obtain these from, e-mail to me.

Wassalaam.
