I got a view (regarding the discussion going on about hejab etc. etc.). In Islam, as well as inn other religions (christianity, Judaism, etc. i.e beleivers in the book or Ahle-Kitaab), the greatest enemy is shaitan or satan. (devil). satan did not prostrate before Adam (PUBH), and since then he has proclaimed (if that is the right word), that he will always try to lead astray the beleivers of Allah, (GOD: ALLAH is GOD in ARABIC), such as the Jews from the time of Moses(alih-wa-salam) till Jesus(alaih-wa-salam) came, then christiaNS And then muslims; he has been trying since Adam (alaih-salam) were in parAdise, through Abraham (alai-wasalam), etc. etc. His aim is to involve people into shirk (equating somebody else with Allah). He has lost hope that he will succeed in getting muslims indulged in shirk. May Allah help us in fighting shaitan, Ameen. So nevertheless he tries to lead muslims into committing other sins (rape, adultery, pride, killing other muslims, leave prayers, drink alcohol, not care about parents etc.etc.) One of the factors that leads muslims as well as other people in commiting rape, adultery etc., is by looking at other's body, private parts etc. It starts with the eyes, then maybe by mouth (talking ), then with hands, and then the whole body. That is why even male muslims are prohibited from looking at other women (whom they can marry), as are women are asked to wear hijab. Now coming to the uncivilized people of Africa, (who wear scantily), they are not aware about Islam or they do not accept Islam. If they do NOT beleive in Allah, i.e. not follow Islam, then according to the Holy Quran they are in the fire of Hell. (This may also be found in Bible etc. 'maybe'). Does the satan need to work on them to make them commit sins of rape when they are commiting the greatest sin of all, for which there never ever will be forgiveness? But the people who have accepted Islam, Christianity, Judaism etc. are civilzed than they(the tribes of Africa ) are. Any comments on this claim? Thus the requirement of Hijab! As also the requirement of Males to restrain from looking at women (whom they can marry). What about jealousy? Even a rooster will not allow another rooster to make a pass at his loved one, and so picks a fight. What about men then? If I have made any mistakes here May Allah forgive me. Ameen.
