I am looking for ascii Quran. I talked with SOUND VISION which has a software package for Quran on PC's. They have an English translation of Quran by Yusuf Ali but they are not willing to sell it alone. My intention is to make something available on the Net for people to copy and use. The major features which can easily be implemented is quick search of Quran based on SUBJECT, WORDS, etc. Of course, there are many other features that can be implemented, e.g. a cross reference of Quran and Sahih Bukhari or Sahih Muslim, a cross reference of verses based on SUBJECT or RELEVENCE, a search based on the time of the verse's revelation etc. If anybody has knowledge of a place where I can get a ascii QURAN, I would appreciate it. I am willing to buy it; however, I would be want to make it publically available so legal issues have to be considered. Thanks. Iqbal M.
