Online translations of the Qur'an by Yusuf ALi and Pickthal are now available. These are produced by the Islamic Computing Centre here in the UK. I talked to the director yesterday and he is happy for them to enter the public domain but he likes to know they will not be used for commercial exploitation and that his company will get some credit in any distribution. They are now considering ways of making the texts available for file transfer. If you are interested to help them make the text available in an archive site or just want to get a copy for yourself it is best to contact them by phone or fax: The Islamic Computing Centre Director: Mufti A K Barkatulla 73 St. Thomas's Road London N4 2QJ United Kingdom Tel: [+44] 71 359 6233 Fax: [+44] 71 226 2024 Farzin Deravi %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% End of returned mail
