Ahem. When the Vandenburg Launch Facility is used, I expect you to ignore Los Angeles, San Diego, and Mexico and refer to the possible destruction of Knots Berry Farm. It may be had to believe, but well over 1 million people live within 50 miles of the Cape. And a fully sovereign nation either lies within the "launch cone", or *very* close to it; close enough to worry about falling pieces. (For 10 points and the game, can anybody name it?) Besides, the way the State of Florida when crazy when Disney came here, they probably have their own military (stalking Steinberg as we speak). I mean, if they are authorized to built their own nuclear plant at their whim, have the seventh largest fleet in the world (mostly 2 m hydroplanes), etc, nothing would surprise me. bruce giles {decvax, duke}!ucf-cs!giles university of central florida giles.ucf-cs@Rand-Relay orlando, florida 32816
