Engineers today discovered loose insulation on a fuel line in Discovery's Number 3 Engine while they were removing it for replacement. The loose insulation may have allowed nitrogen, used to purge the engine, to come into contact with the super-cold hydrogen fuel, liquify, and clog the valve that didn't open.
