It's happened, to the best of my knowledge, for only the 2nd time. The collision of a jump plane and another aircraft. The following sketchy Associated Press article was in the 4 Feb 1991 Columbus (OH) Dispatch. OSCEOLA, Wis. (AP) -- an airplane on a sky-diving expedition collided yesterday with another air- craft near this rural community, kill- ing all seven people on the two planes, officials said. The crash occurred over woods and frozen marsh about a mile south of the airport in Osceola, a north- western Wisconsin community about 40 miles northeast of Minneapolis. Debris was scattered for 300 yards, said Coroner John Simenstad. Bob Borner, a member of the St. Croix Valley Sky-Divers Club, said five club members, four men and one woman, were in a Cessna 182 that collided with another plane not affi- liated with the club. Names of the victims were not immediately released, and it was not clear whether a jump had just taken place. Mike Spurgeon West Virginia Skydivers P.O.
