While attending the Easter Boogie at Skydive City a few weeks ago, I remember seeing several campaign signs scattered around Zepherhills that read "Vote KABELLER for Town Council". The rumor going around the campfire was that George Kabeller was attempting to secure a position in the Town Council specifically to put pressure on Skydive City and force them out of business. If I remember correctly, the polling date was sometime last week. Does anyone know if George won ? On the lighter side: Scotty Carbone came up with a creative way of expressing his feelings regarding the tension between the two drop zones. Scotty's plan called for a sunset formation load made up of one DC-3 from Phoenix and one from Skydive City. Thirty-five skydivers from each drop zone would link together in freefall to form a giant peace symbol. The jumpers would land on neutral territory and have a big party.
